visually proficient. but what a snore. it is so dry. i get what it is saying but i need more stimulus to be engaged.
quite cool. a kind of "body snatchers" meets "brain candy" in a dry, slow burn kind of way. the traditional Gagaku soundtrack was unique.
I love this movie. It's very clearly someone's passion project. It might not hit with everyone, as it's a bit slow. But, the insane attention to detail, particularly with colour, is out of control. I love it.
I like to watch out of my realm but this movie went no where. The acting was ok , even good. The rest was actually disappointing. It felt like a total flat-line movie to me after it ended. No plot, no character development, it just felt “bland”. Cutting grey construction paper would have been more interesting. It just went no where and that’s what was so disappointing-they had potential and they fell so flat throughout this movie.
horrible. the sound track is painful
