A very poor Wicker Man pretender, but without the depth or the subtlety that the Wicker Man exudes. The conflict between the two religions is on the nose to the point of being eye rolling. The performances don't sell the poor story either. Whether that's down to the paint by numbers direction, or the lack of investment I had in the cliched characters is uncertain. But my advice, why have knock off Wicker Man when you can have the original in all its magnificence ?

it’s alright, the ending kind of just gets resolved out of nowhere though

Dragged a little near the end, but overall a good, creepy atmosphere.

Descent enough Folk-Horror with an ending that was not surprising. About how the message of religion can be subverted through the lens of ones madness and lust for power.
