Mad Heidi is absolutely bonkers. This is a crowd-funded movie which is a actually quite enjoyable. Ridiculous, gory action, with a smoking hot heroine (Alice Lucy as Heidi) and an over the top performance from Casper Van Diem (Starship Troopers) as a ruthless dictator. Don't take it too seriously and you'll probably enjoy the campiness of this crazy film.
Mad Heidi is a brilliant homage to fun exploitation movies. You won't be able to tolerate this movie if you don't understand that. The dialogue is off the wall cliche. You can predict what going to happen next by full 10 minutes. Granted there are some insane moments I didn't expect to see. The acting ranges from brilliantly bombastic to horribly bad. The gore is that fantastic practical and CGI over the top goodness. None of the negatives of this film matter, if you're prepared to switch off and watch the most accurate representation of a cheese nightmare.
