it started out well, ending was kinda predictable
I've always loved everything he does,so not surprised to find that I loved this film as well. I loved the beginning credits as well, it gives you a bit of the story and something to watch so you're not too bored.
Such a good film. I'm no expert critic, but I really enjoyed Mama. The ending was probably the weakest part of the film, but if you go into it like I did, just expecting a good movie to watch, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The way the story was told was both riveting and heartbreaking; each character had a place and the ghost itself was one of the best designed I have seen in a while. Usually I don't like seeing the ghosts in horror movies especially because it keeps that essence of the unknown, but in this case Mama's expressions, emotions, and overall freakiness really added to the movie. Overall definitely worth a watch if you want a good scare... and maybe a good cry, too!
This movie is SO good, but the ending is pretty weak.
