this movie would be great with pink floyd dark side of the moon playing. my chainsaw is bigger than yours!!!!!!!!
What a wild ride…if Nic Cage didn’t already indicate that! Psychedelia and revenge! Very enjoyable if weird watch.
I know this movie isn't for everyone, but it's definitely for me. The amazing artistry, the bizarre break-outs, the creepiness and the campiness, I'm just all about it. Soundtrack rocks, Nicholas Cage is wild, I love it! I've watched this movie at least 10 times, I think.
It's slow at first and truly upsetting. It does a complete 180 though and turns into a crazy and fun movie. It's a really unique, aesthetic masterpiece. Also, Cage gives a legit amazing performance.
This has two out of five for rating. One for visuals/fx. One for Nicolas Cage. The plot was goofy and it was hard to follow. I spent most of me watching it wanting it to end. I watched it twice and really wanted to see what everyone else I spoke with sees in it. It just wasn’t for me. The plot holes and confusing/dull premise was enough for me to decide it isn’t for me.
