This is a hard movie to review. I mean as a horror film, it really isn't all that scary, and as a melodrama, it seems a bit artificially constructed
This is a hard movie to review, but I would say it's not much of a horror film. Seems like more of an artificially constructed tear jerker that I like, but I do find it hard to not see much of the story as flawed.
This movie really touched me. It's a bit of a mess "movie genre" wise. You are in for mystery, drama, horror, psychological thriller. It doesn't do any of those particularly well, but the sum of it's parts really did it for me.
A Beautifully filmed drama - not horror - just a horrible family mess
Melancholy and Marvelous.
