The opening credits suggested a very different film stylistically, however, it was well filmed, a good length, and well acted. I like that the ending didn't attempt to over-explain it all. Nick Cage doing Nick Cage was a good choice.
The ending was very abrupt. But other than that, it was actually really good! Great acting, especially from the parents.
this was good! ending was the only bit I didn't like
Going into this I expected some schlocky film that depended too much on it's silly premise but my god does this film have some incredible thought put behind it. I found the cinematography and especially the sound design to be incredible. It's certainly not for everyone and some parts I found to be slightly too uncouth (the implications of stabbing a new born baby) for me but still an incredible film!
LOL!
