Directed by Jeremy Saulnier
A guest at a Halloween party learns the other partygoers are conspiring to kill him in this deadly, deadpan horror comedy from BLUE RUIN and GREEN ROOM director, Jeremy Saulnier. A random invitation to a party in the hipster neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn leads a man into the hands of a rogue collective intent on murdering him for the sake of their art, sparking a bloodbath of mayhem and hilarity. Will they do away with the puzzled partygoer? Or will arguments over which thai restaurant to order from give him the opportunity to turn the table on his hosts?

Brutal yet humorous. Good movie, worth watching
I wanted to really like this one after a few reviewers online touted it so highly. In the end, it was just ... okay? It's really more like 2.5 skulls. I don't want that 79 minutes of my life back, but I certainly wouldn't spend another watching it again. There are some amusing moments and some interesting kills and horror moments while skewering pretentious ideas about high art, but there is also a lot of dullness and failed attempts to be funny or quirky, and it's just not amazing on the whole. Maybe some people will love it, but I found it mediocre. Some of the director's other work is much better.
Pretty good directorial debut from Jeremy Saulnier.
Movie is goofy af, and I am here for it.
Not a masterpiece but worth seeing if you like movies that don’t take themselves too seriously. Also given the fact it was made with probably under a thousand dollars, good job. 😂
