This sequel to the Danish film features most of the original cast along with new faces and while the story is similar, its also different enough to have us wondering what will happen next but there's so much going on that everything feels kinda rushed.
It’s not often I can find a movie that isn’t predictable so I was pleasantly surprised with this film. The acting was great and the suspense was pretty intense at times. Well worth the watch.
1:07:59 Resaurant scene. Awful editing. Show pretty girl’s face every 7 seconds. 1:17:43 Street scene Intrusive and manipulative foley. Intrusive camera dolly – showing off.
A European slasher movie with European pacing.
Nicolaj Coster-Waldau returns as Martin, a man still tormented by the events of the first film, and whose daughter takes a similarly eerie job in order to help her father obtain some closure and get his life back on track. It tries, but it just isn't as effective as the first film.
