Wrote a long review about why this movie is terrible because it handles SA very poorly but the website struck it down as far as I can tell. TLDR; After 30 minutes of SA content handled poorly, a shark slowly becomes relevant while the person who committed SA is never brought to justice by his victim. Hate this movie. It coud have been fun & silly or been much more serious but it does neither.
This movie is terrible. I love it.
A fun action packed movie. Clearly an intentionally cheesy story. I mean, Ninja vs Shark? How could anyone take this seriously? It was meant to be fun. And it was.
Another strange attempt at a Japanese B-movie written in one afternoon just to be cool at a geeky film festival. A title unrelated to the actual plot and a "story" where all the characters are stuffed with turn-of-the-century CGI tomato sauce. Magic appears as a desperate resource to make the idiotic fights more spectacular. Ideal while you wait for the popcorn to heat up and decide which movie you really want to watch.
Sharknado. Eat your heart out.
