The story felt a little rushed towards the end but otherwise a really great film! Definitely had some spooky moments
Love it! Solid story writing, decent jumpscares, superb atmosphere, and satisfying ending.
So good and so well acted. There's an interesting displaced time period thing I really liked. The asylum and Darcy's spaces look like they're from a different time. His wife and girlfriend completely modern. The house must be huge but we only ever see a tiny part. It has a really unsettling effect that in a worse movie I'd think was poor storytelling but here really works.
Irish horror delivers again. Another masterclass from МсСarthy.
Genuinely scary.
