Solid film. I liked this much more than Caveat. Carolyn Bracken is fantastic in the dual role of Dani/Darcy. Well paced and shot. The mix gets a little loud at times, but is very effective. I thin this could become a modern classic.
I think the argument of the movie was fine but the execution could have been better. The jumpscare resource is way too lazy. I haven’t seen a movie that actually frightens me in a long time… I hoped this was the one… only to be disappointed again. In summary, good script, poor acting, effects… meh.
great, but if you are watching by phone, you will need headphones. :/
Yeah ok - very good! The vibe was eerie through most parts of the movie. Though the plot wasn’t out of this world, the mood and theme was constant through the show. Really enjoyed this one.
Despite it lacking the intensity of what I would usually associate with the horror genre, this movie still had a few effective jumpscares, some bloody scenes, and a building sense of suspense in the second half. It wasn't scary as such, but was definitely an enjoyable movie that left you guessing until the reveal in the last quarter. I would leave 3. 5 skulls, but since as I can't, I think 4 is fairer than 3.
