Paperhouse
Directed by Bernard Rose
In this eerie breakout film from Bernard Rose (CANDYMAN), a sick young girl troubled by her parents’ rocky marriage retreats into a fantasy world where the danger is very real. After Anna draws a picture of a house, she winds up having vivid dreams of her artistic creation. But when she’s moved to the hospital, Anna begins to draw and dream other things, including a monstrous version of her father. As the lines between the real world and the dream world blur, Anna must summon all her strength to save herself and her parents. A truly original children’s horror story.

I enjoyed this movie so much ! Here's to Lucid dreaming !
Childhood favorite! Great to see it again.
Has some really creepy parts. Story is pretty great too. The acting is ok, but easy to get past for me since the rest of it is so appealing. Great movie overall.
Starts out somewhat interesting - the fantasy world vs. the real world is whimsical and the premise is kind of sweet. Once it turns dark, you just want it to be over with. It drags so much in the second half.
Creepy (if your a kid). For me (adult) - boring, whiny kid, disjoibtd
