4.5 skulls for a near-perfect cinematic adaptation of the "weird menace" pulp fiction style of the early 20th century. Much like the lurid tales of writer Hugh B. Cave (who is even mentioned in the film by name), it doesn't always make perfect sense, but follows a sort of dream logic of its own. Unlike much of the fiction that inspired it, however, Parasomnia is not in the least predictable. Highly enjoyable and certainly worth your time, especially if you have any idea what I'm talking about.

Solid enough, unique story, interesting effects. Definitely worth a watch. Jeffrey Combs was a nice surprise.
