Movies like this are the foot in the ass that the industry needs: irreverent, self-aware, balls to the wall unhinged. Not everything has to be so damned serious and depressing; sometimes you just need have a little fun, and this one hits all the right notes, especially with the practical effects. It was like watching the Power Rangers on acid
Frig off
Though the movie was meant to be cheesy and tongue in cheek, that little girl was unwatchable - every time she's in camera it's like nobody else was allowed to get any airtime or attention from the viewer - she ruined the movie.
I loved this movie. The premise is ridiculous, but the performance is not campy. The family dynamic is a bit exaggerated, but you can see how their behaviours may apply in real life situations.
That was HILARIOUS 😂 LOVED IT! I will definitely be watching it again 👍😆
