But what begins as another boring day quickly turns deadly, when bizarre reports start coming in of people committing horrendous acts of violence. But why isn't there anything about it on the news wires? Before long Grant and the staff are trapped in the radio station, where they realize the insanity may be caused by a virus transmitted through the airwaves of Grant's station. Really unique, the acting was absolutely brilliant and I found myself glued to the screen throughout. 5 skulls!
This is a GEM of a horror flick. A very unique take on infectious viruses, the enemy you can't see. Language and the words you choose to use, as a killer, are pretty on par with a lot of real-world problems today, whether it's in the political landscape or the way we speak to each other, frivolously throwing words about with no real thought to how it affects others. Brilliant. This movie makes it very clear you dont need a big budget to make a masterful horror flick as long as you have an interesting storyline, a good script, and great actors.
Fascinating concept; I'd love to see some more out-of-the-box thinking in movies. I'd kill for a Blindsight adaptation.
An entertaining and creative take on zombies, shot almost entirely in one place. It's based on a book, with the script done by the author, but hard to imagine it without McHattie regardless. If anyone is interested in a video game with a similar feeling, I highly suggest 'Killer Frequency', which appears to be largely inspired by 'Pontypool'.
Loved this movie the first time I saw it, still love it now. If your open to something outside the box, check it out. If not, I'm sure you can find yet another cliche masked killer stalking babysitter movie elsewhere.
