Kelly Reilly (TRUE DETECTIVE), Miranda Richardson (SLEEPY HOLLOW) and the great Donald Sutherland (THE HUNGER GAMES) head up the cast.

A little slow but it adds the the nice folk-horror atmosphere. Donald Sutherland entering in the second act was great. "Break the promise, bad things happen." The soundtrack was terrific, featuring Coil, Nurse with Wound et al. Glad I spent the time with this film.
Pointless story telling with a real lack of plot and really lame visual effects placed in. I am entirely unsure of what the movie was supposed to be about and I also see no point in an actor with the gravitas of Donald Sutherland being involved in this lack luster film. It was a snooze.
Got bored within 17 minutes. Unfortunately couldn't finish the show
very disappointed in this never ending, senseless movie.
waited a long time to find and watch this; sorely disappointed, it had an oddly amateurish feel to it; as a fan of Roeg's work I can't believe he directed this flat, flavorless outing. Sutherland's part was a pointless cameo, maybe he appeared as a favor to the director. I would love to see this story done right. The smattering visual effects that were tossed in were cheap and unnecessary.
