Not a bad watch if you're looking for a croc creature feature. One of the better ones, nails facts about saltwater crocs and creates a relatively tense atmosphere without villainising crocs as a whole and without alienating the entirety of Australian Wildlife. Relatively likeable characters, especially young Shelly played by Crimson Peak's Mia Wasikowska; that being said, despite these characters being fairly likeable, it doesn't change the fact that they are very one dimensional and the most interesting non-lead is canon fodder early on. Overall I'd consider this if you enjoy a good killer croc movie. The gore is relatively tame, the croc itself isn't anything to gawk at, but the practical effects and gorgeous cinematography more than make up for that. It isn't too tense, a scare or two that got me personally but that's about it. Relatively tame, and good for someone who isn't into things being terrifying.
