Ok, so i had my first kiss, first punk show, and first hotknives in the 90s, but even nostalgia for a bygone era couldn't help me conjure any love for this movie. Except for Courtney Cox and David Arquette, it really stinks: bad script, stupid plot, worse acting. Too bad, because the first one was pretty solid, in a fairly cursed decade for pop cuture. The only good that came of my watching it is that I won't put much stock in member reviews from now on. and i won't be tempted to fuck around with any brutal 90s haircuts or makeup.
Loved this movie!!!💋
so happy to see even the sequel scream got five skulls. good job, people.
this movie is so bloody classic I can remember going to rent the VHS but it was all out and had to wait allllll day before someone returned a copy. I was so excited and loved every minute of it. And it still holds up: super clever and super bloody. 10/10, would rent again! Also: "Go ahead, try and look up Debbie Salt. SHE DOESN'T EXIST!"
