Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill and her Aunt Kate. Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.

its not a bad movie but there's a little bug. it keeps freezing on me and its not my internet that's doing it so yeah, I'm so sorry if this has happened for you.
So I guess Scream just doesn't have bad movies eh? Another fun good movie will say that everything looked off however, like something was smeared on the lens but only effected certain sections of the shot and the high school streamer was real strange. All in all 7/10 not bad.
New decade, new rules. This really had the vibe of a 2010s remake/reboot of a classic. The vibe was definitely different than the 90s original, but it did such a good job with the remake angle that I think it still perfectly fits the franchise with no bumps. The overall plot being so similar but more intense ("you do a remake to outdo the original") with new teenagers on the anniversary of the original really made it feel like the protagonists we've been watching were thrown into the remake to watch and experience as it unfolded. I think this was the pefect continuation, and in my opinion 1, 2, and 4 are all more or less on par with each other.
I actually thought the 4th Scream was a good as the first 3. Glad I watched it since I never have before. Had a whole scream marathon the last fee days which I really enjoyed!
