On a current view, not as good as I thought it was in the 90’s. The lead is nice to look at, but not much else. Toni Basil is one of the better parts of the movie ( which sadly isn’t saying much- she’s under appreciated), that doesn’t have much storyline. The dialogue is cheesy, but sometimes amusing

Its rated 3 skulls for a reason. This film is a complete derivative of An American Werewolf in Paris and A Nightmare on Elm Street and nowhere near as good as either. On the other hand, Toni Basil looks absolutely stunning as she delivers a spirited and wonderfully campy performance. Its a shame she wasnt more popular prior to this and given more opportunites to shine. Shes fantastic. And lastly, the closing song Toni sings that was performed by Devo ("The Only One") is something of a rare gem. Very solid and memorable theme song.
