The first Sleepaway Camp is a cult classic. The sequel, while definitely veering into an offbeat, decidedly unscary/dark humor path as it explores choir-girl/sociopath combo of the psyche of Angela, still works in my opinion in a "so goofy it's good kind of way." SC II is so different, it avoids sequelitis. However, SC III is so similar to II, except often being less effective (worse one-liners, less time spent on her quirks, more boring deaths) in many ways, that I just don't think it holds up as well. It is still different, efficient, and well-made enough to dodge true 1 or 2 skull territory, but it's average at best.

Really bad. Even worse than the second one. Save yourself the time and only watch the first one with Joe Bob.
