Maybe i got too excited by the synopsis and first quarter of the feature. Seemed to drag a little for me as it progressed.
I feel like there are very few monster films in this particular sub branch. If I was to name the sub branch, that would be a s spoiler, so I won't, but I will say that Sputnik certainly makes recent big studio entries in this area (that start with V) look like garbage. Sputnik has high production values, a repulsive monster, heavy 80s Soviet mood and keeps coming up with new ideas to spin the film on.
Not bad, felt bad for the Alien though, even if he was consuming fear soaked brains!
I liked it - the horror aspect is less pronounced than you might be expecting (although the creature is suitably creepy), it's more of a sci-fi/thriller with horror elements. But the production values are excellent, the acting is pretty solid, and the story is interesting with multiple twists and turns to keep you engaged.
people dont tink, soryy i meant think. think about what you might say, well tis simple you see. when you say sus, what do i feel. NOTHING! when you say cope, what do i feel? NOTHING! when you say cute anime boys i feel... well... you can take a guess.
