A charming, if not entirely unnecessary, re-make of Jeremy Saulnier’s Horror masterpiece, “Green Room,” (2016, A24).
punks don't call the cops. i give it 2/5 because the music was so good it almost overcame the horrible writing. Director Zink was absolutely trying to be Jeremy Saulnier, which was just too lofty a goal for someone with no talent and bewildering politics.
someone's butthurt college art project
I like Punk. I like low budget.
So the plot is that punk should be nicer to ...uh, the notes says nationalistic fascists. That can't be right, can it? Are the film makers seriously implying that? Wow. Cuz a movement that rose outta rebellion against the Thatcher/Reagan era should totally give this era's nationalistic fascists a break. FFS. Zero skulls should be an option.
