A decent film about mental dealing with a mental disorder. Does a decent job of showing some of the complexities mental health. Not a "horror" by any means, but an alright film.

Not what I'd call horror but an effective deeply sad psychological drama.

Very literary film, and while I don't fully understand the polarized dislike of it by some, I can understand why some would feel it is not horror in the traditional sense. The main character is compelling, and the acting throughout is exceptional. No spoilers, but I REALLY wanted the psychiatrist to lose her license to practice after what she did. The Syrian caretaker might have been the only one who really understood why . . . His understated compassion was heart-rending. Exceptional film if you like literary horror. Charlotte Perkins Gilman would get it.
