Pretty fun! More of a TCM2 vibe than a TCM one. scenery chewing acting all around

Jesus Christ this was awful lol - if you want to make a "black comedy", do it with a franchise that isn't. . . well, this one. It's worth viewing if only for the laughs.

What in the heck did I just watch? Horrible acting…. Check. Horrible characters…. Check. Complete nonsense from start to finish…. Check. Maybe I am in the minority but I want to see leather face as a bad ass killing machine. This version of leather face was more comical than scary. I don’t know what Matthew Mcconaughey was going for but he was ridiculous. By the end I wanted to see everyone dead. Absolutely ridiculous.

An interesting detour in the TCM universe and one that feels like it had potential, but still missed the mark. Leatherface was kind of dull and only McConaughey really delivered on an acting level. Based on her performance here, I'm surprised that Zellweger went on to bigger and better. But in the end, there's enough silliness to keep you entertained.

Technically the first remake of the original, this is crazy fun. Never understood the hate for it.
