The Blood on Satan's Claw
Directed by Piers Haggard
After a beastly creature’s bones are unearthed in a small British village, the teenagers quickly fall under the spell of a Satanic entity who gives them each a yucky patch of furry skin. Led by the seductive Angel Blake (Linda Hayden), the kiddies form a cult and start playing deadly games with their elders– and anyone who gets in their way! Though overshadowed in horror history by THE WICKER MAN, BLOOD ON SATAN’S CLAW is arguably more chilling. Over 40 years later, the wicked wedding sequence is still guaranteed to give you nasty nightmares. ESSENTIAL VIEWING.
Teens from small British village fall under the spell of a Satanic beast in this British horror classic.

This is really good.
Simply put, a classic folk horror.
Enjoyable 70s English horror
Not up there as one of my favourite 70s horrors but a decent watch. Won’t be able to looks at Frank Spencer’s wife in the same way again, that’s for sure.
Even though this film does possess a certain charm, it is poorly scripted, badly acted and rather boring as a result. Only for die hard fans of parochial witchcraft tales.
