Slow to start but once it gets moving it is an interesting tale, the second half is a lot of fun and the ending, while it may not appeal to all, is a disturbing vision if you fully understand its significance. Four skulls rather than five as it could do with a slightly faster ramp up at the start and some more scares, but never-the-less an excellent story.
Deeper into the belly of the beast ;) A Great found footage folk horror movie.
Obviously missed something as I can't understand why people have loved this so much. Used the cop out of interference with the cameras whenever something vaguely interesting was about to happen and they get...eaten by the tunnels?? Scariest thing was probably the village where it was filmed, I've been to places like that and they don't like outsiders... Biggest scare was the dog, genuinely jumped at that but was only half paying attention at the time so no idea whether there was any context to it just appearing.
Brilliant!!! my parents live near where this was filmed so i am gonna have to give it yet another 5 skull review. Where do you Shudder guys find all these weird and wonderful films ? not complaining though - keep em coming!!! ;-)
