A must-watch. Not only does it breathe fresh air into found footage, it manages to be genuinely terrifying - something very few horror films actually are.

Really nice countryside setting & good acting from the main guys, even though the first dude is really obnoxious sometimes. Wasn't very scary overall but the ending was kinda cool. Highlight for me was when Deacon punched that kid, 11/10 moment

The writing and acting hold it up fairly well. My only annoyance was the occasional moments of 'found footage scares' that start to drag and feel pointless. The best use of them was actually pretty much right at the end. But again, the banter and story keep it mostly interesting enough to get through to the films unnerving peak.

I’m not a fan of found footage movies so I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Definitely worth a watch.
