I can hardly articulate how disheartening it is to see people giving this one star because they don’t want to see queer content on Shudder. They could’ve just said they didn’t like it but instead take an opportunity to put down an entire group of people. Also it’s pretty funny to me that viewers think theyre important enough to choose what belongs on this platform. You’re just a chump on the couch watching TV, watch queer content if you want to, don’t if you don’t want to but don’t be homophobic about it.

A note to the queerophobes: Maybe learn a little about the history of the genre you supposedly love? A good starting point is Shudder's own Queer for Fear documentary. I quote Shudder's blurb: "QUEER FOR FEAR explores the topic from its literary origins with queer authors Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker, and Oscar Wilde to Universal Monsters and Hitchcock; from the "lavender scare" alien invasion films of the mid-20th century to the unbarring dangerous queer women inspired by Sheridan Le Fanu’s Carmilla. QUEER FOR FEAR re-examines genre stories through a queer lens, seeing them not as violent, murderous narratives, but as tales of survival that resonate thematically with queer audiences everywhere."
