Excellent Cronenberg movie. Good for its time. Howard Shore does the music. An interesting exploration of intergenerational abuse (domestic violence). Obviously, it went the horror route instead of something realistic, but good that even then it was looked at.
What a good movie for it’s time. Quite an original storyline. Exciting even, no boring bits.
unique and disturbing. its a Cronenberg body horror classic
Atrocious and blatantly made by a paedophile! I'm glad I wasn't alive in the 70s, the clothing is horrific and the only good part of the film was when that little fuckface got smoked which made me laugh. It's a comedy and Oliver Reed has the most smackable face ever. No wonder he was can alcoholic!!
Woah. You are stitching together all the pieces of the story right until the end but not in a frustrating way, it's a fun ride to be on. Prac effects are what you expect from Cronenberg and do not disappoint.
