The Dark and the Wicked
Directed by Bryan Bertino
On a secluded farm, a man is bedridden and fighting through his final breaths while his wife slowly succumbs to overwhelming grief. Siblings Louise and Michael return home to help, but it doesn’t take long for them to see that something’s wrong with mom—something more than her heavy sorrow. Gradually, they begin to suffer a darkness similar to their mother’s, marked by waking nightmares and a growing sense that an evil entity is taking over their family. A SHUDDER EXCLUSIVE.
An evil entity takes over a family in this horrifying new tale from the director of The Strangers.

Slow burner. Weak ending. Sorry guys
This movie messed me up in a good way. Go into it know as little as possible and don’t watch it alone.
It had some thrilling moments but the storyline needed some work. For example, what was the precursor to this event.
More like The Boring And The Poor Sound Design. This has an interesting concept but it's just so fucking boring. Like extremely boring. I really wanted to like this but I just can't. So yeah. 1½ skulls.
love it
