More a psychological examination than an out and out exorcism, the movie moves slow which it needs to do in order to fully develop the plot. Slightly too many jump scenes, but the acting is good through out in a movie that could have gone overly dramatic. Interest concept of a movie within a movie, but the final 20 minutes is atrocious.
Boring. 1½ skulls.
This movie is so lame it ruins films I actually enjoy. How many Russell Crowe priest films we need?
I was looking for more of a movie focused around the set and actors, and this was more of a traditional Exorcism movie.
Certainly not the dud a lot are reviewing it as. - Sam Worthington's character could've had a bit more fleshing out.
