This movie wanted to do too many things and all it did successfully was waste time. The payoff dinner scene wasn't satisfying and the titular forbidden door is introduced and dropped until the very end. The "twist" was as dumb as the lead's haircut.
I really like Joko Anwar. This one lost me around the end, but I'll watch it again someday. There's definitely a lot to unpack
Not a bad film at all, it's a crazy film with a wicked ending.
I was surprised. I didnt see where this was going but its a decent movie. very confusing at first, but it all comes together
I can tell the writers, directors and the leadership team spent time and effort on the cinematography, etc. But it lacks appeal. Nothing to see here......
