I can’t help but think this was a work of someone with money and no developed creativity. I wish they would have at least consulted someone who knew how to bring a story to film. Good basic idea, bad result. I hope it gets a decent remake someday.

This movie is all over the place. It feels like it can’t make up its mind on the genre of horror it wants to be, so it just takes pieces of a bunch of them, blends it together, and hopes that something interesting comes out. Unfortunately for most watchers, that is not the case. The editing reuses about 1/3 of the movie over and over without giving us much more information, leading to this movie feeling like it could have been a cleaner 60 min short film watch. With some cleaner edits the slow information reveals could have been much better but overall it just falls flat for me.

Peyton List was the only good thing in this pile of a movie. It never explains itself, it is constantly all over the place, and that computer kid was beyond superfluous. He actually makes it worse and make less sense, pass on this one and watch her in Cobra Kai.
