In this movie’s defense, this is the ORIGINAL movie. The same filmmaker, with the same cast, remade this movie a few years later and it is MUCH better. No slow burn, the first hour and fifteen minutes of this movie are condensed to a 10 min montage and the rest of the movie expands on the story’s original screenplay.
Sure it’s slow but they’re making a documentary that never gets finished, so that adds to the realism. This is one of the few found footage movies that feels like it really happened. The ending could be better I suppose but it’s still creepy.

This was a terrible, boring and a very slow, drawn out movie. The concept of haunted attractions is great, but this movie did it poorly.
While the complaints found in several reviews are very justified I found some enjoyment in this film. The build up dragged on a bit much and many character threads were left dangling by the end but the atmosphere and resolution of the final act was more or less worth it for me. This is definitely going to find itself as background noise for chores.
