Pretty good movie if you need something less intensive on in the background while working. It's overall atmosphere is relatively tame and slowly builds up until the last 20 minutes or so, but afterwards i was just left thinking "man. . . all that buildup for that ending?" At least 50 minutes of the movie is very documentary based and centered on storybuilding and the culture of haunted houses, it's not the sort of movie i'd reccomend for viewers looking for fast paced horror this ones 100% slowburn with a rather anticlimatic ending. Think loosely of Mungo lake but with no tragedy, just some very silly Americans.
terrible ending preceded by dull movie. one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Definetly the worst on Shudder
Didn't realize this was the "original". . . . . and wondered why I didn't remember parts of it LOL. Worth a watch if you're into the other ones.
