The Sadness
Directed by Rob Jabbaz
When a virus spontaneously mutates, it gives rise to a mind-altering plague. The streets erupt into violence and depravity, as those infected are driven to enact the most cruel and ghastly things they can think of. Murder, torture, rape and mutilation are only the beginning. A young couple is pushed to the limits of sanity as they try to reunite amid the chaos. The age of civility and order is no more. There is only "The Sadness". Note: The Sadness contains graphic and extreme violence/gore, as well as brief strobe effects in the end credits.
In this extreme horror, a young couple try to reunite amid a city ravaged by a plague that turns its victims into deranged, bloodthirsty sadists.
Cast: Regina Lei, Berant Zhu, Tzu-Chiang Wang, Apple Chen, Wei-Hua Lan

Fucking gorusome AS FUCK, great flick tho, 10/10 ending i was NOT ready for
Super interesting take on zombies, and has some interesting points to make about human's and what the limits of humanity are. not for the faint of heart though. amazing gore effects, and shows just enough to get the point while not leaning into exploitation. highly recommend, but proceed with caution
Good movie! Brutal, but not gratuitous, weird as that sounds, given that its really gory and unrelenting. While there is sexual violence in this movie it is not depicted graphically, just heavily implied.
If you are looking for a gory thriller this is it. The acting was pretty good and boy was it gruesome. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and highly recommend it.
Brutal but well executed and you still enjoy the characters, victims, villains and all.
