The Third Saturday in October Part V

Refreshingly original! A little predictable but still good. The bad guy could use more depth, more lore or backstory but I liked the protagonists a lot.

i just found out there are only two of these films. does anyone else have the feeling that 2 and 3 were offered at one point? so weird. anyway, i enjoyed the film. sort of like Scream, though not as good-- but solid.

lacks the perfect balance between humor and horror that something like the evil dead series has, but i enjoyed it. it's pretty solid. i will probably try the other entries

Not much to say except if you like campy, and pseudo grindhouse horror , this is your movie. Blurs the line of horror comedy.

It’s not particularly good, and oftentimes it leans into a way too violent territory for a slasher movie (should be quicker kills), but it has its charms in being greatly atmospheric, successfully reminiscent of ‘80s classic slashers, and Kansas Bowling does a wonderful job as “the final girl. ”
