The Wild Boys
Directed by Bertrand Mandico
After a brutal crime, five adolescent boys (all played by actresses) are punished to board a boat with a captain hell-bent on taming their ferocious appetites. After arriving on a lush island with dangers and pleasures abound, the boys start to transform in both mind and body. Shot in gorgeous 16mm and brimming with eroticism, genderfluidity, and humor, Bertrand Mandico's THE WILD BOYS will take you on journey you won’t soon forget.

I've enjoyed all the French films on Shudder so far. I like the variety on here--might not have seen some of these otherwise. Also appreciate the subtitles because I study French so its another way to practice. This was very good. More please!
There are exactly two genders but this only gets one skull because it's not horror and not well made and not entertaining.
Wild, weird, wonderful film. Very strange, surreal feels like a dream, and like you're on an adventure in wonderland. Only problem, I didn't really understand what was going on, but the cool weird scenes made up for that and made it a joy to watch.
