I liked it quite a bit, when I tried rewatching it in a more fitting mood than my first attempt. Anyhoo one thing that got me: way they set up the ending… I had to rewatch & analyze. Good ending but maybe a little clumsy? Wellp. That’s my fitty cent! Ciao my bellas!
It was pretentious, and the story was muddled. The cinematography and performances were exceptional, but just because something looks good doesn't mean it is good.
I know I shouldn't rate if I didn't watch to the end but . . . I got to an hour and 37 minutes. This film has so much to offer but falls short. Pros: Diverse cast, well acted, good cinematography, good concept, good depiction of grief. Cons: Repetitive, INCREDIBLY slow moving, aimless . . . it got boring and I couldn't finish. Two hours? HOW?!!
this film definitely had some good moments. the overall concept had a lot of potential, but this was impacted by factors like uneven pacing in its delivery. i dont regret watching it but not something i would watch again
Awful! The manic depressive version of Odd Thomas :-) 1 Skull.
