Virus :32
Directed by Gustavo Hernandez
A virus breaks out and a chilling massacre rages through the streets of Montevideo. The sick become hunters, and only calm their fever by unscrupulously killing all those not yet infected. Unaware of this, Iris and her daughter spend the day in the sports club where Iris works as a security guard. When the night comes a fight without mercy is about to begin. Their only hope of salvation arrives when they discover that after each attack the infected seem to have 32 seconds of peace before charging again. A SHUDDER ORIGINAL.

What a fantastic film. Obviously, 28 Days and Weeks Later were inspirations. But, this was a very original take to the zombie/infection genre. The characters were simple but powerful, whom were all very well acted. The writing and directing was spot on. The pacing was quick, but not too quick. Also, it was incredibly tense, it even had me on the edge of my seat a few times. The cinematography and lighting were stunning, which was one of the many aspects that kept me hooked to the screen. I can't recommend this enough. Please give it a watch. I know I'll be definitely watching it again.
