Wonderful dive into horror fans’ obsessed love of all things dark and scary.
Just another fun horror doc that discusses why YOU clicked on the thumbnail to watch about horror haha or the reason why you have a shudder account. I learned some new things about the history of horror through this (or already knew I just needed it explained again). The interviews and Tal's perspective was an enjoyable watch!!
Talk about bottom of the barrel. This is a complete waste of time. There's an overwhelming selection of great documentaries about the subject of horror in media an this provided absolutely zero to the conversation. I'm also deeply disinterested in the doc's host. I really hope someone in his life has the decency to gently reveal to him that liking horror movies isn't an acceptable placeholder for a personality.
I love things like this but this doc didn’t really cover any new ground. As horror fans we can probably all talk about why we think horror is fun/ important and all the points covered here were kind of “duh”. This is good to have on in the background while folding laundry but nothing revolutionary.
Interesting, but a bit uneven.
