That was a weird bit of cinema. Lots of atmosphere, though a kind of meandering story. Nevertheless, entirely watchable. Joaquin Phoenix is an amazing actor and the blonde teen girl did a mighty fine job too.
Slight subversion of a payback/revenge movie. Joaquin great as usual. If you're here for creeps getting punished, it technically happens but it's not really the focus of the film. More about how one processes trauma
Phoenix is so good!!! Brilliant acting, good story line, bit slow to get going but overall 5 skulls from me!
not bad. not great
definitely not a horror but I liked it, amidst the violence it was quite a sad story
