Campy af, and not the fun kind. The finale was rushed and unsatisfying. The acting took a turn for the worst. Definitely the weakest of the Slasher series.
I was intrigued by the concept but the mediocre acting (which included people dropping their accents mid-line) and commercial break fades to black completely ruined it. Couldn’t get past episode one.
I tried . . I really did. . . this is hot garbage
So good. . . and then that finale. Ugh. Still great overall, but these people need to just do a simple straightforward ending. Flesh and Blood had an awful ending, and Ripper's ending, though not bad, just tried too hard to be poignant or something.
No Spoilers Review: At first I wasn't feeling it, but those last 3 episodes brought it home for me and I thought it ended strong, I'd still say as far as Slasher Seasons go I'd put it above Season 4 but not above the other ones, I loved all the connections to Season 3 in this and that final cameo made me really happy, I won't spoil who it was but I just hope that person is brought back if they make a Season 7, which please Shudder give us more Slasher, with Harper's Island only lasting 1 Season and the Scream TV Series only lasting 3 Seasons this show has been the only Slasher genre fix when it comes to TV
