Slasher: Ripper

Slasher: Ripper

Slasher: Ripper takes the franchise back in time to the 19th century. There's a killer stalking the mean streets, but instead of targeting the poor and downtrodden like Jack the Ripper, The Widow is meting out justice against the rich and powerful.

Maybe the most consistent of the series so far. There are still a couple of jarring moments where it's hard to tell how much time passes between scenes, and it does ultimately over-explain itself, but the new setting really helps to push forward the themes of classist prejudice that the show has grown fond of.

Was very fun. This is probably my favorite season of slasher, and had an ending that was far more satisfying than other seasons.

Very very fun, tragic and relatively good at getting you to remember how complex people are in a fun way, especially the very end.
