And from time to time, special surprise guests will drop in on Joe Bob and Darcy the Mail Girl.

I’m hoping for better movies. Seems to be getting pretty far away from the nostalgia of monstervision. The show is at its best when Joe Bob is in historian mode. Movies haven’t been great the past few seasons. (A few have for sure… but really need more consistency)

Just wrote a very insightful review and I reload the comments, poof gone. I wanna know who is trying to ruin the only thing people subscribe to this service for!? Once again, Drive-In indicates a Double Feature, that’s how it is at a real Drive-In and how it should be. Joe Bobs always done it that way. Not to mention it’s now bi-weekly!? I never thought I’d be saying this…but shape up shudder or I’m un-subscribing. I’ve gave you 6 loyal years, you can at least have the good grace to not ruin my spring to summer Friday nights. Please and thank you for reading. If this one is posted and then gone I will honestly quit shudder…..Or write a strongly worded letter to a congressman…y’all’s choice.

Down to not only 1 movie every other week, but just to spite us all I guess, you also take away the double f****** feature!? Some programming exec has never been to a DRIVE IN! Thats the whole point of the drive in, the double feature! I been with Joe Bob since he came back, and while not particularly a fan of the DUO DRIVE IN, I can cope. The lack of the double feature and bi-weekly…that I cannot abide. Fix it, for the love of the horror gods. This is all I have in these trying times we live in today! Thank you all for your time.

No, it's not 90 percent. Man... you guys... you invest so much frustration into something so small. Just go and look at old clips of his segments on youtube. Not this series, but the ones from the Movie Channel and TNT, in which he's interacting with the mail girl. She's rolling her eyes and belittling him in response to his questions, same vibe as now. The difference is that in those old clips he's basically propositioning her. He can't do that now without seeming like a creep, because times have changed. He's also a senior citizen. So he still provokes his mail girl, but those provocations are less pervy and more good-natured needling. Like how he's always bringing up the fact that she's vegan. So what, it's her life. If you don't want to hear from her, then you'll have to make him stop questioning her. He's the sole credited writer, and most of those exchanges are scripted. I think their dialogue has become somewhat forced and vapid, but I can cope with it. I would prefer to see him host on his own, like when I started watching him in the 80's, but it's his show so my preferences and nostalgia don't matter. I'll keep watching as long as he's the one speaking most of the time (and it's currently well over 90 percent).

90% of the show is now Darcy complaining and shutting up Joe Bob. This is not what we want to see.
