I definitely miss the weekly show schedule. It really felt like I was a teenager again looking forward to that weekly MonsterVision but I understand. I'm just thankful Joe Bob is still rocking it. I think if you can't keep up with a monthly show that airs on the first Friday of every month from March to October you may need to evaluate your situation and figure out why you can't clear a Friday ever month
100% with Darcy on the tipping thing! The Drive-In Will Never Die!
I’m now obsessed with Coffin Joe. Would you please stream “this night I’ll possess your corpse” in non-Joe-Bob format?
Just keeps getting worse unfortunately. 2 episodes a month and they always seem to choose an old black and white movie and a bad dub of an old movie. Do better, Shudder!
The Church sure is a mess of a film. It's unfortunate that people mistake it for an Argento movie, because it's poorly directed and assembled. I've seen four of Soavi's films and didn't enjoy any of them. But it has just enough setpieces to be worth seeing once, and the trivia was interesting. And of course Jose Mojica Marins is a great choice for this series. I actually think the Last Drive-In is improving. JBB and mail girl have spent so much time together, on set, at screenings and at conventions, that they now have a more natural dialogue. Mail girl is more likeable now, not as affected and mannered as in the past. It's not just me, is it? One episode per month is a subscription scam, but I blame Shudder for that. And at least this year's season is such a slow rollout that there's something to look forward to for most of the year.
