The Strain
The Strain is a high concept thriller that tells the story of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, the head of the CDC Canary Team in New York City. He and his team are called upon to investigate a viral outbreak with hallmarks of an ancient and evil strain of vampirism. As the strain spreads, Eph and his team wage war for the fate of humanity itself.

I cannot explain how much I love/loved this show ! Chuck Hogans book and what Del Toro brought to the book and this show was nothing short of amazing . The concept of the vampires which was completely different than what we thought is nutzzz. ! I’m reading the book again and yes the last season is totally different than the book- but Ann it’s entertaining.
it's one of those shows that you don't need to pay attention to, but entertaining enough to watch when there's nothing else to do. it has a cool story, the characters arent that deep, and the vibes are spooky/action. it's a modern vampire show made for easy viewing- type television.
I tried zero skulls, and it forced me to give it one. Guillermo Del Toro's storytelling is for adult children
