During a festive Yuletide party, a group of sorority sisters receive a creepy call from someone who claims he’s going to kill them all. The girls soon realize the threats were serious, when one by one, they each fall prey to the mysterious maniac. After directing two relatively ignored horror flicks which later became cult classics (CHILDREN SHOULDN’T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS & DEATHDREAM), a Christmas miracle made Bob Clark’s 1974 classic a hit. A huge influence on John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN, BLACK CHRISTMAS is frequently credited with helping spawn the slasher subgenre.
This horror classic about a killer stalking sorority girls on Xmas helped spawn the slasher genre.

Great classic horror movie!
Shockingly good, honestly better than many slasher movies that came after it.
Christmas classic!
Wow, that was amazing best “Christmas” film of all time if you allow me to call it that, lowkey a 10/10, the tension in this movie was insane, the phone call scenes, the killer pov shots they were perfection, I had decent hopes for this movie but wow this blew me away left me speechless after the end, oh yeah and the ending SO GOOD, if you don’t give this movie a go your missing out this is probably one of my new favourite movies of all time.
Still one of the absolute scariest films I've ever seen. The end credits especially leave me with an overwhelming sense of pure dread. 10/10
