In this found-footage gem, a documentary crew visit the site of a haunted house attraction whose opening night ended with 15 unexplained deaths. Eventually the crew come across a surviving employee who has footage that shines a scary light on what really went down that night. As we watch those ill-fated thrillseekers shuffling through the horror house, the knowledge of what’s about to happen makes for a squirm-and-scream-inducing good time. Dread Central called it “a perfect fright flick for the Halloween season” which features “one of the creepiest clowns to appear in a horror movie in a long time.” Sorry Pennywise!

Okay I’m not normally an amateur film/documentary girlie but this actually gave me chills and made me think twice about turning all the lights off at night! Gave myself some time to recover before watching the second one lolol
Idk why people like this movie
This one has huge potential but it ended leaving me wanting a bit more. I feel like it wasn't really scary at all until the last act, but it's worth watching for that part of the film alone.
Strong found footage film. Here the setting is the thing that really ratches up the suspense. It reveals just enough to pique your interest while leaving the rest to your imagination. Plenty of solid scares to enjoy. Look forward to seeing the rest of the franchise.
