After car trouble, the gang goes to visit a creepy museum filled with eerie mannequins which may be alive. Director David Schmoeller's debut bares the mark of his teachers - surreal and shock-loving directors Luis Bunuel (UN CHIEN ANDALOU) and Alejandro Jodorowsky (SANTA SANGRE). Ten years later, Schmoeller would create and direct the cult horror series PUPPETMASTER, which also deals with deadly dolls.

i genuinely didn’t think this would scare me but it kind of did. that guys face at the beginning when he 💀 that will scar me for life
Interesting premise, creepy murderer but quite predictable. House of Wax story is based on this.
Finally saw this classic! Sometimes very straightforward but often throws little twists in to keep you engaged. Nicely acted for the time and solid kills.
